Friday, June 27 at 6:30pm we will meet in Heartland’s parking lot to carpool to Camp Windermere. Dinner is on your own before arriving at Heartland. Friday night campfire begins at 10pm. We will be staying at the Windermere Lodge, three men to a room. Rooms have one queen and two twin beds. After a hearty Saturday breakfast, we will complete a high ropes course including zip line. Then we hit the river for a canoe trip on the Niangua River, including a riverside lunch. Saturday after dinner we will go cave spelunking and wrap up the day with another campfire. Sunday worship will follow breakfast and then back to Heartland, expecting to arrive around 12:30-1:00 pm. All meals and lodging are included in the $95 per person price of this action packed adventure. Contact Michael Maybee for more info. Release Form for the Adventure Weekend
The Edge High Ropes Course:
Experience the rush of flying on the giant swing, feel the adrenaline pumping while attempting the Leap of Faith, experience the success of conquering the climbing walls and feel the sensation of flying as you zip on down the zip lines. Imagine yourself conquering these challenges as your friends cheer you on.
Canoe Trip:
Living Waters Christian Canoe Ministry floats on a secluded section of the Niangua river that is both great water and uncrowded.
Windermere Cave Beyond The Gate:
The tour is approximately two hours in length and culminates in a discussion (in total darkness) of creation and Jesus as the Light. Through a series of probing questions about light and Jesus, guests are led to elevate their understanding of a Christian worldview.
