More seats, spots and space to advance our ability to 'build a church for the unchurched'

Twenty years ago, Heartland's pioneers felt called to build a church dedicated to reaching the unchurched. Today, that vision remains unchanged. It's the heart of why we exist.

Obviously though, we’ve reached the point where we’re out of seats in our auditorium, parking spots near our building, and space in our building for people to hang out and do life together. So we’re looking for a new home that can help us advance our mission – a place where kids can be nurtured, teenagers can be teenagers, and adults can connect and grow in meaningful ways. We are dreaming that our new facility will allow all of this to happen, and more. We envision smaller spaces for counseling, prayer and discipleship…and larger rooms for team meetings, leadership events and discipleship classes.

Specifically, we’re searching for a new space that will allow for:

  • over 2,000 seats
  • over 750 parking spots
  • over 100,000 square feet of space
  • a state-of-the-art children’s space
  • youth facilities
  • a chapel
  • an atrium, designed for true connection
  • space for mentoring and discipleship

90% of the funds we raise through ‘go’ will be going toward our new location. We hope to be in our new home by the end of 2009.
