ASSIST TRAINING AND CLASSES

Assist is a comprehensive care and counseling ministry that provides prayer, relational support, and help in connecting those in need with the appropriate resources. Our staff members, pastoral elders and volunteers work as a team to meet needs as they arise within our community. WOMEN AT THE WELL

Join other women at HCC for appetizers, desserts, great conversation, worship and inspirational teaching.

HIGH QUEST SMALL GROUP - MENS

High Quest is a small group discipling environment that equips men to walk with God for a lifetime.  High Quest equips men by teaching them how to build a relationship with Christ by meeting Him on a consistent basis in the context of His Word.

WEDNESDAYS

JESUS IN FILM

Interested in taking a deeper look at the person of Jesus Christ? This 3 week class is structured upon the book The Jesus I Never Knew by Philip Yancey. Each week of class will consist of viewing a number of clips from the various Jesus films, teaching, followed by small group discussions and exercises. Offered 5 times in 2011. Each class is 3 weeks in length.Click here for a promotional video.

RELATIONSHIP PRINCIPLES OF JESUS FOR COUPLES

Want to improve, even transform, what matters most in your relationships? In this 6 week study you will explore and implement principles that Jesus taught and lived.  The class is based on the book The Relationship Principles of Jesus by Tom Holladay and designed for couples being taught as a group followed by  discussion in small groups.

MOTHERS TOGETHER

Mothers Together is a great first step where you'll meet others in the trenches of motherhood.  We invite you to join a weekly year long ministry where we engage in scripture based teaching, worship and serve together, share in small group time and gain encouragement from our guest speakers.

WHAT YOU DO BEST IN THE BODY OF CHRIST

The class will focus on laying the foundation of what spiritual gifts are and allow you to discover what skills and strengths God designed in you, plus how you can use them most effectively. This is a great starting point for finding a place to   volunteer at Heartland. The book "What You Do Best in the Body of Christ" by Bruce Bugbee will be your reference tool.

Pre-class work to be completed:

*Purchase the book "What You Do Best in the Body of Christ" by Bruce Bugbee in the Heartland Bookstore.

*Read chapters 1-4

*Complete both the Spiritual Gifts Assessment and Personal Style Assessment.
