Men’s Ministry
Heartland's men's ministry operates under the banner of "Everyman Ministry." Everyman Ministry's vision is to lead every participating man to be a Disciple of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to create opportunities for men to Gather Together as a community of godly men, to Grow in their knowledge of and relationship with Jesus Christ, and to Go and Serve him by serving others.

Every Man Fridays -
The first Friday of each month at 6:15 am - 7:30 am. FREE Donuts and Coffee are served at 6:15 am and the program begins at 6:30 sharp. Come gather with hundreds of men in the Heartland auditorium to be challenged by a guest speaker in your walk as a godly man. Contact Steve Specker for additional information.
Men's Journey -
Men's Journey is an opportunity to grow in Christ with other men who face the same life challenges as you. There are currently three options for participating in Men's Journey: Friday mornings you can join us in Heartland's atrium at 6:15am, or join the North groups that meet at Homer's Coffee House at 6:30am. If Friday mornings don't work for you, check out Man Tuesday at 6:30pm. For more information, click on the Grow in Christ quick link on the left.

You will learn about the key difference between the world’s attempt at integrity and the biblical approach, and how you can become a man of true integrity.

Men & Emotional Intimacy - Listen to Grant Wood’s presentation

Men and Women were created with a capacity for initimate connection throughout our entire beings. Pop psychology has told us that "Men are from Mars and Women aren from Venus". Grant H. Wood MA, MS, LCMFT discussed how true intimacy can be developed both in marriage and in other relationships at the February 5 Everyman Friday meeting. Grant and his wife, Emma, are the directors of Resonate Relationship Clinic in Overland Park KS. Grant serves individuals, couples and families in the areas of emotional, relational, social and spiritual development. Grant has completed advanced training in couple therapy at the Gottman Institute in Seattle. He specializes with pre-marital and marital enrichment, men’s issues, adolescent behavior and spiritual formation. Grant is a clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, the American Association of Christian Counselors, Spiritual Directors International and the Savannah Family Institute. Grant takes joy in performing and composing music, reading, kayaking and goofing around with his kids.
