Yes, many dream of one day getting married or remarried. But, what if you don't? Could you still live well? Of course you could and we're here to help.

Day 1 - Overcoming 7 Obstacles to Spiritual Growth
Posted: Aug 26 2010
Awesome turnout Thursday night! I think everyone is really excited about this study. I know I'm also really excited about the group of ladies I got to sit with last week. I can't wait to see them again this week.
I hope you've all had an awesome week and you've had a chance to read chapter 1 & 2 Thursday, September 2. If you don't get to it, we still want you to come out, but I hope you get a chance to read it. We'll be looking at the discussion questions for those chapters and hearing about knowing and doing what God is asking of us.
Sign up here for this study. you can buy copies of the reading in the heartland bookstore. See you Thursday. Bring a friend! Michelle Wilson

Singles Living Well Study
Thursdays August 19 - September 23
6:30-8:00
We all hit obstacles on our spiritual journey and get stalled (or stuck) from time to time. For some it’s a flat tire that quickly gets fixed. Others blow an engine or go off the road and end up in a deep ditch – tougher obstacles to deal with. Sometimes we don’t even know we are stuck. This book, Overcoming 7 Obstacle to Spiritual Growth by Dwight Carlson, will blow you away. Sign up here for this study. Buy your book at Heartland's Bookstore ASAP supplies are limited.
Singles Living Well Studies are designed to help singles grow spiritually in Christ.
SOAP study - Singles Living Well Study
Posted: Jul 13 2010
We had 40 people Thursday night learning and practicing S.O.A.P. which is a simple devotional structure. If you missed, please read the attachments (below) and begin using SOAP.
“Developing a Devotional Life” captures the teaching given Thursday
“SOAP journal example” describes what SOAP stands for and shows you how to set up your journal.
“Galatians Reading Plan” gives you a little context to the book of Galatians and gives you the daily readings.
Your Homework
- Spend time with God. The goal is to do it 5 times a week. (Read the passage and Journal your thoughts and prayer)
- If you miss a day or two, don’t skip or cram readings. Just pick up where you left off. This isn’t a race.
- Write down words or phases you don’t understand so you can study or ask someone about them later.
- Don’t give up.
- Come back July 22 & 29. Bring your Bible and Journal
- Share this with others and bring them
Our New Start Time is 6:30.
We are in the Youth Lounge located at the back of the building last room on the right. You are welcome to park in the back. It’s well lit.
Childcare is provided.

Single Parents - Jump around with Bob
Posted: Jun 26 2010
What a great evening we had ! The slip n' slide was in full use, and the kids never stopped with it. Well, maybe with the exception of when the adults went down the slide..... A bouncy house stayed occupied most of the time as well! What a great opportunity for us single parents to come together and converse, while our kids were playing and enjoying themselves. No worries about dinner, or children being bored! Bob grilled up so hotdog and burgers for us. I'm greatly looking forward to our next gathering. Check our the Single Parents Calendar to the left for our next event.
