Sometimes we can feel "pushed around" by the people in our life without knowing what to say or do about it. Their expectations for us seems to dictate how we should feel and what we should do.
As Christ followers, we focus so much on being a loving and unselfish person that we may feel bad or unspiritual if we say no or confront someone.
Heartland Singles Ministry will study the book "Boundaries: when to say yes, how to say no, take control of your life" by Henry Cloud and John Townsend. They give Biblically-based answers to tough questions, showing us how to set healthy boundaries with our parents, friends, romantic interests, children, co-workers, and even ourselves.
Please join us and invite others to

2) Purchase the book online before class (see registration form)

Our studies are mufti-genterational events, Your table leader and discussion group will consist of people from your generation and same gender.
A boundary is a personal property line that marks those things for which we are responsible. In other words, boundaries define who we are and who we are not. Boundaries impact all areas of our lives:
- Physical boundaries - help us determine who may touch us and under what circumstances
- Mental boundaries - give us the freedom to have our own thoughts and opinions
- Emotional boundaries - help us to deal with our own emotions and disengage from the harmful, manipulative emotions of others
- Spiritual boundaries - help us to distinguish God's will from our own and give us renewed awe for our Creator
