• Healthy Interpersonal relationships
• Giving your life away to those in need

 

First Steps Spiritual Growth Class

Do any of these statements describe you?

• I am interested in learning more about God.
• I question the validity of God.
• I have a hurt, habit or hang up that keeps me from God.
• I have a deep relationship with Jesus and want to invest in others.

Then check out First Steps! This 2 session class is designed for you to explore 3 of Heartland's spiritual growth opportunities to help you grow closer to God. You will learn about the following growth opportunities and you choose which one best fits you. Class is typically held on the 3rd & 4th Sundays of the month at 9:00-10:00am in Grow Room 23. 1. Explore Class - An unthreatening place for you to ask the questions you have always wanted to ask.
2. Life's Healing Choices - A safe place to gain freedom from your hurts, hang ups or habits and help you remove barriers keeping you from moving forward in relationships with God and others.
3. Spiritual Mentoring - This experience can be your first step, next step or a rekindling of your walk with God. During this six month journey a mentor will lead individuals or groups through the book Discipleship Essentials where you will learn about the essentials of Christianity.
