Premarital Counseling and Weddings

Congratulations on beginning this exciting chapter in your life! We hope we can help make your time of engagement and your wedding day special for you. Even more importantly, we hope to help you build a foundation for a strong and healthy marriage.

Whether your interest is in just premarital counseling, in having your wedding at Heartland, or in having a Heartland pastor officiate for you at your wedding at another local site, you'll find the info you need to get started below!

Premarital Counseling

Because premarital counseling can help you better know and understand your partner as well as prepare you for challenges down the line, Heartland's pastors do require all of the couples they marry to complete a few premarital counseling sessions. Details and fee info on premarital counseling through Heartland may be found on our Premarital Counseling Guide.

Weddings at Heartland or at Other Local Sites

Heartland's pastors are happy to officiate at weddings at Heartland or at other local sites. If you're interested in having a wedding at Heartland, our Weddings at Heartland Guide will provide the details you'll need. If you'd prefer to have a Heartland pastor officiate at your wedding at another site, you'll find the details on our Weddings Offsite Guide.

Fees for Premarital Counseling and Weddings

Need a quick summary of the fee info on premarital counseling or weddings? Please see our Wedding Fees Summary.

Ready to Request Premarital Counseling or a Wedding?

Once you've set a date and are ready to proceed, you can get started by completing our Premarital Counseling and Wedding Request Form. You are welcome to submit your request up to one year in advance of your selected date, however, please understand that we are unable to confirm our pastors' and/or our building's availability until six months prior to your selected date. We do ask that all requests be made at least 90 days in advance.

I Just Submitted My Request – What's Next?

For info on what to expect after you submit your request, a countdown checklist, and info on your rehearsal and wedding day, please refer to our Wedding Day Countdown Guide.

If a Heartland pastor will officiate at your ceremony, he/she will help you finalize your ceremony details; however, our Customizing Your Wedding Ceremony Guide is designed to help as you start thinking about your ceremony.

Rehearsal Dinners/Receptions at Heartland

Heartland's facility is not available for rehearsal dinners, but our Atrium may be reserved for wedding receptions. To request more info or to book your reception, please feel free to email us at weddings@heartlandchurch.org and we'll put you in contact with our Facilities Coordinator.

Questions?
