High School
.High School can be the best time of your life or the worst. But no matter what experience you had in high school we were all searching for similar things; hope, purpose, and identity. We want to be a community that offers a safe place with lasting relationships where teenagers can ask questions and start finding answers. We hope to raise up a new generation in the journey through high school that will find hope in Christ, purpose in their creator, and identity in the God who formed them.
There are three ways for students to get involved in the High School Ministry:
Gather - High School Gathering Sunday nights @ 7pm
Grow - Life groups Wednesday nights 7pm @ Heartland
Go - Memphis Mission Trip and other service oppourtunities

High School Memphis Trip

God is doing some awesome things in the urban core of Memphis, TN and we have an opportunity to be a part of it. This July we will be taking our second High School trip to Memphis. We will be partnering with an organization called S.O.S. Memphis (service over self)
This will be an intense week of work and play as we serve people who are less fortunate. We will be working as teams on home repair and we will be stretched and challenged by God as we worship and share our lives. I can’t wait to see the team that God puts in place this year. The trip is for anyone entering 9th grade in the fall of 2012 up to seniors who just graduated.
Cost -$ 500

Directions:
Follow I-35 South (15 miles past Olathe, KS).
Take the Edgerton Exit (Exit #202) and turn left (South) at the stop sign on to Sunflower Rd. Continue 1/2 mile to 215th St.
Turn left. Follow 215th St. 1 mile until it ends into Spoon Creek Rd.
Turn right.
After you cross the bridge, the camp entrance will be on your left.
What to Bring:
Pillow/bedding, toiletries, towel, changes of clothes, comfortable shoes, spending cash for extras, camera, flashlight, insect repellant, Bible and pen or pencil. Please do not bring any electronic devices (iPods, cell phones, dvd players, etc.) or anything else of value.Register NOW!
This is the can't miss weekend of the year. We head to Youthfront Camp West in Edgerton, KS for a retreat! We're calling it the "Price is Right." Wanna know more about it?
Starts: 7pm on Friday October 21st. Meet at Youthfront camp, only a half hour drive from Heartland.
Ends: noon on Sunday October 23rd. You can pick up your student after the Sunday services conclude at Heartland. We will arrive at Heartland on school buses.
Where: Youthfront Camp West (21667 Spoon Creek Rd., Edgerton, KS)
Cost: Only $75. And that gets you two nights of lodging and four incredible meals from Youthfront.
Scholarship assistance available by filling out this form. Applications taken until 10/10.
