Middle School
Middle School meets Sundays at 11 am in the Youth Room (for 6th, 7th & 8th grade students).
Who are we? We are people committed to building a church for the unchurched. And we want a youth ministry that reaches students who aren't necessarily churched. That means we are creating environments that are safe and fun for students to enter. You'll create lasting relationships with our excellent group of leaders.
Our greatest passion is finding leaders who are compelled to love students wherever they are at and connecting them to students. We try not to make going to church difficult and if you are new and visiting, we promise we won't put a spotlight on you!
There are three ways for students to get involved in the Middle School Ministry:

- House Groups
House Groups - Next on March 10th

Both house groups are going to dinner together at Pizza Street (75th and Quivira) on March 10th. Meet at the houses like normal and leaders will give rides to Pizza Street.

If you want to grow deeper in community and in your faith, be a part of one of our house groups. House groups meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month from 7 – 8:30. There are two house groups beginning this semester:
- For students attending Olathe/Blue Valley schools (Daniel Gum, 11919 W 131st Terr, Overland Park).
- For students attending Shawnee Mission schools (Ryley Johnson, 5217 Walmer St., Mission, KS 66202).

Youthfront Camp Registration

Want to go to a week of summer camp? Here's your chance! Heartland has spots reserved for 20 boys and 20 girls, July 19-24 and YouthFront Camp West. Those spots are for kids entering 6th-8th grade next summer and it's cost is $360. The best way to find out information and register is by going to YouthFront's web site here. Be sure to register for week 7 at Camp West to be with the Heartland group. Camp is one of the highlights of our year, and you won't want to miss it!
