Middle School
The middle school service meets Sundays at 11 am in the Youth Room (for 6th, 7th & 8th grade students).
Who are we? We are people committed to building a church for the unchurched. And we want a youth ministry that reaches students who aren't churched. That means we are creating environments that are safe and fun for students to enter. You'll create lasting relationships with our excellent group of leaders.

Life Groups start on January 19th

Middle School and High School Life Groups will begin on Wednesday 1/19. One of our leaders will lead you and your small group in discussions and hanging out. This is one way to grow deeper in both your community and your faith at Heartland.
Middle school students (grades 6-8) meet at the church on Wednesdays from 7 - 8:30pm.
High school students (grades 9-12) meet at the Wheeler's home from 7-8:30pm. Directions on the high school page.
Powerplay Event on Sunday January 16

There's no school on Monday January 17th, so stay up late with us on the Sunday night before! We're going to Powerplay (NE corner of Shawnee Mission Parkway and Pflumm) on January 16th. Bring a friend and $15 to get in and enjoy unlimited attractions (bowling, go karts, laser tag, bumper cars & tilt-a-whirl) from 8 to 10pm.
Who: All students in 6th - 12th grade
When: 8 - 10pm on Sunday 1/16
How Much: $15
Drop off at 8pm and pick your son or daughter up at 10am at Powerplay Family Entertainment Center (13110 W 62nd Terrace)
If you want the chance to go free, attend one of our Sunday gatherings and you might win a free night at Powerplay. Or parents, attend the "Meet the Youth Leader" night on January 12th to possibly win a free ticket to Powerplay. Bribery? Yes, we believe in it.

Meet the Youth Leader Night - January 12th

Parents, this is your chance to get to know the youth volunteer leaders!
Who are they? They are Addison, Alyson, Rob, Ashley A, Christopher, Dee Dee, Drew, Edward, Eric, Heather, Nanette, Derek, Dillon, Anna, Lisa, Mark, Matt, Melanie, Mike, Emily, Jason, Rebekah, Stu, Travis, Ashley G and Ashley P.
And a list of names just doesn't do them justice. You've got to meet them to know how much we love and like them!
Join us on January 12th at 7pm for coffee and cookies. Our volunteer adult leaders are an incredible group of people that walk alongside your kids all year long. They’d love to get to know you and we want you to have a chance to meet all of them before the new semester kicks off in 2011. It's also a great way to connect with other parents at Heartland. Trust us, you're not alone in parenting your teenagers!
We'll also give away a couple free tickets to our January 16th event at Powerplay...so come on out, you never know when you might get to save a few bucks!
