On promotion Sunday all kids move up to their new rooms. There will be volunteers and staff in the halls of Great Beginnings to help families find the right classrooms. First through Fifth graders will be in the gym for Great Adventure. Note the change this year for first grade, they will be dropped off and picked up in the gym all year. Sixth graders will head down the hall to the youth room. It's going to be a great year!

Heartland Children's Ministry feels a need to get better at caring for our families that have special needs children. Jesus told us "when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind and you will be blessed" Luke 14:13-14. If you have an interest in helping special needs kids fall in love with Jesus please fill out the attached questionnaire and plan to attend an information gathering meeting Oct 8th, 7pm at Heartland. Journey Club is for 1st graders through 5th graders at 7pm, in 4N during New Community. It is for kids who are looking for that opportunity for deeper spiritual growth. We want to build lasting, meaningful relationships between kids and God, kids and kids, and kids and adults.
Jr Journey Club is for two-year-olds through Kindergarten. It is to help kids learn how to fall in love with Jesus in pre-school kind-of-fun ways."
We have baby-sitters for our youngest New Community kids. Your kids will be welcomed by safe and loving adults who will care for them while you worship.
