What to Expect
Heartland Kids-Sundays at 9 AM, 11 AM and 5 PM for kids in Kindergarten – 4th grade
Our staff and volunteers are committed to making the Bible real to kids through creative large group teaching and intimate small group relationships.
Our curriculum is virtue based and is communicated through music, creative drama, and a Bible lesson. Each kid is connected with a group of their peers and a dedicated small group leader. To help you be the primary faith shaper for your family we provide Parent Cue when you pick up your child, or via the Parent Cue App (download below).
We focus on these three truths:
I need to make the wise choice.
I can trust God no matter what.
I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
Everything we teach in Heartland Kids K-4 is based on one of these basic, but powerful truths modeled by Jesus in Luke 2:52. Our curriculum is designed to provoke discovery and invite kids into a new understanding of how to grow in a relationship with Jesus. We would like to help families continue teaching these truths at home with the help of “Parent Cue” available at Kids' check-in or in the Parent Cue app (download below).
If you are interested in peeking in on what a Sunday looks like for your child, email Liz Meyer to schedule a behind the scenes tour of Heartland Kids.
Hello, K-4th grade families! We invite you to take the concepts we are focusing on each month at Heartland Kids and explore them throughout the week with these easy to use Bible study discussion guides. Each month, we will load the current guides on the first Sunday so you are ready to go! Just click the icons below to download each week's discussion guide.
Feel free to share your experiences on our Heartland Instagram or Facebook page, @HCCks. We’d love to hear what you are learning together!
