if: heartland conference for women

Save the Date for IF Gathering 2017: March 3 - 4 at Heartland!

Ladies, IF Gathering 2017 is an event you do not want to miss! This will be a special time for us to step away from our busy lives, join other women in community and deepen our understanding of God.

Journey with us back to the days of the early church and watch how God moved in simple ways. Watch how he used ordinary people to do big things. Come learn with us! Let’s learn how we can also get back to the simple and pure truth of the gospel and see it move powerfully to those around us. We are excited for this opportunity to hear challenging teaching, worship, share meals together, reflect, and discuss with other women! Please join us!

We will gather on Friday, March 3rd, 6:00 – 9:30 PM and Saturday, March 4th, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Cost is $40 to cover two meals and materials for the weekend plus a donation of your choice that goes directly to supporting the IF: Gathering.

women unplugged called & sent: a study of acts

new participants can join at any time

The birth of the early church is our story. This is where we came from, and it is where we are going. It is the story of how we are called to reach out, and how we are called to come together. In this study, Called and Sent: A Study of Acts, we will read through the entire book of Acts and discover God’s big plan for His church then and now.

Watch the gospel grow legs and walk around. Watch the early church figure things out, learn how to love each other in community, and discover how to resolve legitimate conflicts with care. See how they give their lives in faith for Jesus – the Man they watched, with their very own eyes – live, die, rise, and ascend into heaven. The Man they knew, beyond a shadow of doubt, really is the Son of God.

Adapted from the SHEREADSTRUTH study “Acts of the Apostles”

Join us for this 8-part study while getting to know others like you. Women Unplugged is a place where you can come as you are and experience authentic community, gain insights through Biblical teachings about who God created you to be and be encouraged to take action for wherever you are in your spiritual journey and season of life. We are all on a journey and learning together. We want to grow in our confidence to answer God’s calling to uniquely share His love with those in our everyday life.

Invite a friend or two and register now to join others like you in WOMEN UNPLUGGED A.M. OR P.M. Women Unplugged meets weekly from mid-September through early-May.

{men}

called & sent: a study of acts for men

Tuesdays, 6:30-8 PM

Jesus clearly understood who he was and what he was called to do. He knew that as God’s son he had been sent to change the world and to restore people back to God. And astonishingly – after his death and resurrection – Jesus left his mission in the hands of a ragtag group of disciples, telling them “As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you” (John 20:21).

The book of Acts in the Bible is the true account of how this small band of Jesus followers were sent out by Jesus, how they formed the foundations of the early church, and how their courageous missional journeys transformed the known world.

We will explore questions like: How was the church formed, and what did it look like? How did God change the lives of the disciples and create a movement throughout the world? How were the first Christians called and sent in such powerful ways that we are here today representing their legacy in our world? How might we be part of such a church today and see revival in our city and world again today?

Join us for our 8-part Tuesday night series, Called & Sent – A Study of Acts and find out! New guys can join at any time.

Childcare is available. Pre-registration and payment required in advance. CLICK HERE to sign up now.
