Leadership Community - TOMORROW
Leadership Community is tomorrow morning from 9-11am. Whether you serve for just an hour or you feel like you're on staff!
Leadership Community is back in 2010 with a fresh new design for volunteers only. Justin McRoberts is more than just music, he will be our special guest sharing his tactics on serving Christ as a lifestyle. Plus, Dan Deeble will send us off with specific actions steps for all volunteers. This is an experience you won't get anywhere else, not even Sunday morning. Don't miss it! Register for Leadership Community and Childcare today.

I want to Volunteer
Are you ready to volunteer at Heartland? We need you to make things happen around here! There are many ways you can give your time and be a part of something incredible in the Heartland community. Right now we have several high need volunteer areas, including children's ministry, youth ministry, creative arts and production, and hosting/hospitality roles. You can test drive any of these opportunities and choose which one is right for you. Full training is provided, and you will get the chance to meet some pretty amazing people on the team you choose!
To learn more, email Lisa Zulke. View the list of our current High Need Roles.

Heartland Family Adventure, High Seas Expedition!
Ahoy Mateys! Families with kids 3years old to 5th grade are invited to sign up for Heartland Family Adventure where we will be exploring the mighty love of God!
HFA is July 12th-15th at Heartland.
The Adventure starts at 6pm and ends at 7:45 with a little time at the end for cookies from the galley. Kids and parents will stay together to sing, laugh, learn, do crafts, service projects and play games. For the last part of the evening kids will be entertained with more stories and games while the parents listen to parenting wisdom from a pastor. Space is limited to the first 400 children. Don't worry if you have younger children, there will be free baby-sitting for them. The cost is $20 per child. You can find FAQs and registration here. Questions? Contact Ally Stouse.
Volunteer for Heartland Family Adventure
It takes a team of cheerful volunteers to create the best week of Children's Ministry of the year. Heartland families need people who will do crafts with them, play games with them, tell stories, bake for them and do administrative work behind the scenes. If you would like to be a part of this awesome week for our families please contact Ally Stouse.
Promotion Sunday, March 28th
Parents if you have children in our Great Beginnings Nursery Classrooms (rooms 1-4), they will be promoted to the next room on March 28th. Their classroom will automatically be updated on their check in sticker, or see one of our coaches to help you find the classroom your child will be joining. We will also be opening a new classroom to make space for all our growth. If you are not currently serving, we would love to have you join us in Great Beginnings. If you have any questions, please contact Angela Horton.
Help our Kids have an Awesome Easter
Easter is a busy Sunday at Heartland's Children's Ministry. We will provide children's ministry at the Saturday 5pm and the Sunday 9am and 11am services.
We wouldn't want any of our kids to have a sad Easter like the little girl to the left with crazy, scary Easter bunny. We could use some extra hands because we have lots of kids. If you would like to help make Easter a fun, safe and meaningful service for kids please let us know which time and what age group you would like to serve. Sometimes on high attendance days we have had to turn away kids because we did not have enough volunteer help. We would love to prevent that on Easter. We would also love to help kids fall in love with Jesus, not the Easter Bunny. Contact Sara Stauffer.
Through the Roof Family Night - March 20
Register here for Family Fun Night. Saturday, March 20. Parents can drop off their special needs child and their siblings for a fun evening of 1-on-1 care. Specially trained volunteers will guide the children through fun activities, crafts, snacks and building new friendships. Event time is 5:30-8:30.
Great Beginnings Resources
Great Beginnings (Infant - K) Parents, check this out! The First Look curriculum we use on Sunday mornings has come out with a cool, new monthly version of Small Talk! Small Talk captures what our kids are learning on Sunday mornings and gives parents creative ideas on how to reinforce those learnings during the week. We hope this will be helpful to you as you help your child discover that their best life awaits them in Christ!

Providing Meals at the Hope Center
The youth ministry at the Hope Center has experienced some exciting growth over the past year and as a result of that growth we've seen an increase in the need for people providing meals for the students involved in our Leaders In Training program each week. Providing a meal for this program allows the youth to enjoy a healthy meal together at the beginning of their evening before they begin their tutoring sessions. Providing one of these meals is a great way for individuals, small groups, and families to get involved in The Hope Center. If you are interested in helping in this way, or have any questions please contact Matt Nagel or call 816.913.6290 x103.
Check out the latest at the Heartland Missions website.
