Landscaping our new home TOMORROW!

Empty BedsYour help is needed! Tomorrow Saturday August 29th we will finish landscaping our new facility. If you have a green thumb, then we have plants that need to go in the ground. If you have a black thumb, then we need you to haul items into position. We are making a day of it from 8AM to 2PM, so come for as long as you can. Don't miss this opportunity to meet someone new, help finish our new facility and save the church some money in the process. Helpful tools might include: roundpoint shovel, work gloves, sharpshooter, wheelbarrow, rigid steel rake, and sunscreen. Lunch will be provided. Questions? Contact Ryan Heckman.

Baptism Celebration Service - Photo Gallery

Baptism 2009We are always amazed at how incredible Heartland’s Baptism Celebration is and this year was no exception. Over 950 Heartlanders worshiped and celebrated together at Kill Creek Park. And 57 people shared the story of their journey with Christ and were baptized. It was a gorgeous day full of celebration, joy and friendship! Click here to see some pictures from the day. If you have a picture that you'd like to share send it to Jen Agena.

Serving Opportunities

Providing Meals at the Hope Center

Our youth ministry has experienced some exciting growth over the past year and as a result of that growth we've seen an increase in the need for people providing meals for the students involved in our Leaders In Training program. Providing food for this program allows the youth and leaders to be able to enjoy a meal together at the beginning of their evening. Volunteering in this capacity is a great way for individuals, small groups, and families to get involved in The Hope Center. If you are interested in volunteering in this way please contact Matt Nagel or call (816) 913-6290 ext. 103.

1:1 Spiritual Mentors Needed

We need you! In preparation for our move we need 200 new 1:1 mentors ready and waiting. Want to make a difference in someone's spiritual walk? We will give you the tools and training to embark on this life changing adventure. Stop by the Grow Space for more information or email Britton Gregory.
