There are two main categories of volunteer opportunities:
Serve Coffee and Drinks for the Church with a friendly face and serving attitude. Qualities needed: 1)Dependability - as a team member, showing up as scheduled is 90% of the service opportunity. 2) Friendliness - Team members are relating with visitors and long time Heartlanders, equally important to extend a servant heart and attitude, and 3) attention to details - following the procedures laid out for systems is critical to success in serving. Time involved is one Sunday shift a month for 2 1/2 hours. Shifts are 8:00 am to 10:30 am OR 10:30 am to 1:00 pm.
Qualities needed: Serving with utmost attention to details as well as a positive helping attitude. Retail experience is a huge attribute to bring to this position.
Time involved in serving is twice a month on Sunday for 2 1/2 hours. Shifts are 8:30 am to 10:30 am or 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.

Shuttle Drivers - As easy as driving a van. Bi-weekly shifts range from one to two hours, depending on the slot. Drivers are needed for each slot. Substitue Drivers are welcome. The schedule is broken into the following time slots:
Shift I - 7:00 to 9:00, Shift II - 9:00 to 10:30, Shift III - 10:30 to 11:45, Shift IV - 11:45 to 1:15.

Stage set-up crew members are needed for Sunday morning services, New Community (the first Wednesday of the month), and Sunday evening “Gathering” services. If you have an interest and passion for setting up bands for services, we have a spot available immediately for you. Training will be provided.

The branding team is looking for someone to assist with the bulletin layout each week. It will probably take 2 hours a week at first and then an hour a week. Coordinate between the front office and the printer on a weekly and timely fashion. Access and facility with Adobe InDesign is a must. Contact Matt Nagel if interested.
