Join ROAM at Shawnee Mission Park on Saturday, June 29 from 9-11:30 for a stand up paddleboard (or kayak) adventure! We will paddle at least once around the lake and wrap up with a BYO-Picnic.

Please RSVP and note if you have your own board/paddle, or will need to rent a board/paddle. Several experienced paddleboarders will be on hand to give instruction. We will also send out a link to videos on the basics of paddleboarding the week before this event.

Paddleboard or kayak rental at Shawnee Mission Park are available first come/first served (no reservation) for $20/hour or $30/90 minutes. Bring your beach towel, camp chair, plenty of water, and clothing you are OK getting wet in. (If you own a life jacket that fits you, please bring that as well. You are required to have one on board as you paddle. SMP includes a life jacket with rental, too.)

Our hope is to orient ourselves and others toward our identity in Jesus and to connect deeply in community through life-giving, accessible, local adventures. Our events are open to women at all ages and stages of life, and anywhere on the faith journey, from curious, questioning or actively following Jesus. Join us!
