Join us November 18-19 for Fall Retreat 2022! move (grades 6-8) and MVMT (grades 9-12) students will gather on and offsite for a jam-packed 2 day retreat experience. Friday night Fall Retreat will kick-off at Heartland and students will come together for a session before heading offsite for pizza and Urban Air (move) or RoKC (MVMT)! Day two begins Saturday morning at Heartland with a session, a small group leaf rake in neighborhoods around Olathe and Happy Belly food truck for lunch in the Backyard before more small group fun in the afternoon. The retreat concludes Saturday night with a final worship session and offsite bonfire and Fall party! This weekend is designed with tons of opportunities to have FUN and connect with God and one another – We can’t wait to see you there!

We’ve worked hard to make sure this year’s Fall Retreat is wildly fun AND safe. Below are some frequently asked questions we’ve done our best to anticipate! If your question hasn’t been answered, CLICK HERE to email Sagan Hundley.

We are excited to be able to offer an in-person Fall Retreat experience and are dedicated to the safety of our community as we do. We ask that any student or leader who is experiencing any common symptoms of Covid-19 or that has been exposed to someone who has recently tested positive follow the current CDC guidelines.
Drop-off and pick-up will always be onsite at Heartland. Check-in begins at 5:45 PM on Friday, November 18. Pick-up on Friday for all grades is 9:30 PM. Saturday, November 19 drop-off at 9 AM and pickup is 10:30 PM.
Transportation will be provided by First Student Charter and exact locations can be given upon request. Saturday morning’s Leaf Rake activity may require transportation from your student’s adult small group leader.
Absolutely! We know fall is a busy time with sports and other school or family activities. If your student is only able to participate in a portion of the weekend, please contact Sagan or Shibu so they can communicate with the small group leader assigned to your student and special drop-off or pick-up arrangements can be made.

No. Parents or guardians should plan to drop-off and pick-up their student on both Friday and Saturday of the event at the scheduled times.
Students should plan to bring a notebook, their Bible, and a pen. Your student should wear clothes that they will be comfortable in outdoors and indoors and that allow them to participate in games and activities.
Fall Retreat is a BLAST! This weekend will be packed full of fun, connection, and dynamic worship experiences. We can’t wait to see how he’ll show up as we make space to meet with him in community together!
