Equipping & Empowering
Student Movement Leaders

Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays | June 2 - July 26

We believe that God is on the move to transform communities, schools, and lives and has invited us to be a part of it. To be the church among the unchurched, where we live, work, study and play. Students are no exception! You have enormous potential. To recklessly follow Jesus wherever he leads. To be his hands and feet. To be light in darkness. To bring healing to the hurting. And to share the hope of Jesus in a world that so desperately need hope. The LTP is an 8 week intensive summer internship that equips and empowers student movement leaders.

“BE WHO GOD MEANT YOU TO BE AND
YOU WILL SET THE WORLD ON FIRE.”

- ST. CATHERINE OF SIENA

An Ideal Applicant

LTP is for student leaders looking to grow in their leadership, deepen their faith, and uncover more of who God has created them to be. LTP is for students hungry in their faith, who have a growing sense that God has something more for them. Those that ask “What if?” “Why not?” “What can I do?” LTP is open to high school sophomores through seniors and college students. This year we are looking for 12-16 high caliber students to participate.

What It Looks Like

1

Movement Practices: Sundays are days we gather together for the practices of movements. We’ll share a meal, dive into group lead Scripture reading, and end with prayer walks on school campuses.

2

Leadership Development: Tuesdays feature in-depth leadership development, often taught by guest speakers, covering topics such as hearing God’s voice, discovering your calling, and leading movements. We’ll also get the chance to hear from real people who have launched a movement of their own.

3

Group Work: Thursdays we allow God to speak through one another as we create space to listen. In community we’ll dive into things like SASHET, spiritual pathways, testimonies, and more!

4

+ Immersive Leadership Experiences: Throughout the summer each intern is required to participate in 4 immersive leadership experiences in which the things learned are put into practice. Examples include working with the homeless, giving a talk at the middle or high school ministry, or serving with Mission Adelante.

*To preserve the communal aspect of the LTP experience, interns are only allowed to miss two weeks (6 sessions) throughout the Summer. It is also highly suggested that interns attend MVMT Summer Camp July 13-18
