Middle School Camp

DATE: July 6 – 9, 2026

Location: John Brown University

2000 W University Street, Siloam Springs, AR 72761

MOVE is heading to Camp MIX on July 6 – 9, 2026. Camp will take place at John Brown University in Siloam Springs, AR.

This summer, students entering 6-8th grade are invited to get away for a week of camp that they will never forget! God shows up in significant ways when we leave the distractions of our everyday lives behind. Crazy worship, dynamic teaching, fun and creative games, and new friends can all be found at MIX!

You don’t want to miss it!

Early Bird Cost is $450 per student until May 1. The cost from May 1-June 1 is $500, paid in full at the time of registration. There are a limited number of spots, so sign up early. Waivers are required at registration.

Frequent questions

You’ll get a more updated packing list closer to camp, but in general, you’ll need active clothes/ shoes for 5 days, toiletry items like soap/shampoo, deodorant, toothbrush/paste, your bible and a pen or pencil, bedding for a twin XL mattress, and optional snacks, games, and money for snacks or camp merch.

We’ll be renting a bus and our drive is 3-4 hours and goes through the Ozarks, so it’s very hilly. If your child needs motion sickness medications, please send them with them. We will stop for 1-2 bathroom breaks along the way.

Send $20 to cover two meals on the way to camp and on the way back. Also, the camp has merch, so if your student wants to buy a t-shirt or another item, we recommend $30-$50.

Many factors are part of this decision, and parents are often surprised to learn that our events do not pay for themselves. Your cost covers the camp fee, including things like housing and food for 5 days, camp production, speakers, fun, etc. Outside of the camp fee, your cost also covers transportation to and from camp and the registration for our adult leaders. Since we ask so much of our small group leaders for the week, some of your cost covers their expenses for attending.

Camp offers students an opportunity to unplug and get away from the stress of everyday life. Phones will be collected upon boarding the bus on the way to camp. All parents will be able to connect with their student(s) via Brinna. More info coming soon.

We bring our small group leaders to camp! They all attend Heartland, have completed our thorough background check process, and are safe, fun, Jesus-centered adults. Also, our Child Protection Policy ensures that no adult is ever alone with a student in a private space (e.g., a vehicle or dorm room). We’d love to connect you with your student’s small group leader! If you’d like to meet, email Brinna at brinnar@heartlandchurch.org
