writers community meet up

October 19, 6:30-8:30 PM in Room 23
Are you a writer . . . but you never have time to write? Have you longed to share your story in words but you're afraid because you still have doubts and questions about God?
Join us for a night dedicated to the creative voice of writing and storytelling. Guest speaker Christina Hubbard will lead us in discussing what it means to be vulnerable as a spiritual writer and how God inspires others with something small we all possess: five minutes. There's something for writers of all levels at this workshop.
Christina is a poet who writes memoir. She uses her pen to help the spiritual creative find courage and freedom to influence their world with honest, beautiful story. She gets a big thrill out of connecting deeply with other makers and helping writers find God's imagination in their work. Christina is mom to two squirrelly kids who will change the world and wife to her own private pilot. She loves doing yoga on her deck in the sunshine and dreaming of her next roadtrip or overseas adventure.
