Heartland’s men’s ministry operates under the banner of ”Everyman Ministry.”
Everyman Ministry’s vision is to lead every participating man to be a follower of Jesus.
Our mission is to create opportunities for men to gather together as a community, to grow in their knowledge of and relationship with Jesus, and to go and serve him by serving others.
Men’s Journey -
Men’s Journey is an opportunity to grow in Christ with other men who face the same life challenges as you. You have two options for taking part in Men’s Journey. We meet every Friday at 6:15 am at Heartland and at 6:30 am at Homer’s Coffee House on 80th Street just west of Metcalf. If you are new to Men’s Journey you should feel free to drop in any Friday. At both locations, we have a “launch group” just for those not yet connected to a group. At Heartland, ask for Tom Walker, and at Homer’s ask for Brad Gregory. For more information, contact Tom Walker.

Tuesdays 6:30pm-8:00pm from September 15th to December 8th
We believe that it’s time to raise the standard and remind ourselves of true manhood as God intended it to be. Our homes, our workplaces, our community, and our world desperate in their need and desire for you and I to live courageously – for Christ, and for His kingdom – as a Kingdom Man. This Kingdom Man study is one of our Men’s Journey offerings that will take place on Tuesday nights from 6:30-8:00pm in the Garage. No prior experience with Bible is necessary, but even seasoned participants in Bible Studies will be encouraged and challenged throughout this study. Learn to love God with your heart, soul, mind and strength and love your neighbor as yourself. Is it really possible to live out the Great Commandment? We think so!

Life’s Healing Choices for Men
Do you feel like you are the man God intended you to be, or do you feel some invisible force is holding you back? Ever feel the urge to escape, have trouble dealing with certain difficult situations, or struggle with recurring issues in relationships? If you answered yes to any of those questions, or if you feel like you need to readjust your life’s compass, then Life’s Healing choices is for you.
Life’s Healing Choices is NOT just for guys dealing with bad habits, persistent unhealthy choices, or those whose lives are out of control. Life’s Healing Choices is for Everyone. The class is less about self-discovery, and more about abandoning yourself to God so you can find your role in His larger story. Life’s Healing Choices will help you find it.
The next twelve-week class begins Wednesday, September 16, 7:00-8:30PM. This is a safe place where everything shared is kept confidential and participation is anonymous. Sign up by clicking right below.Click HERE to register
Our Adult Community welcomes adults, whether single, married, divorced or widowed. If you are looking for a Sunday morning study
group, then Adult Community may just be the right fit for you. We meet Sunday mornings from 10:15 until 11:30 in room 4.
The first few minutes are spent catching up on the past week and then we dive into the current study. John Auld & Gary Blakeman
facilitate this interactive discussion of the Bible and how it relates to life in today’s world. This is a safe place to voice your thoughts
and hear what other people just like you are thinking. We engage with the Bible and various study materials throughout the year.
Hot Roasterie coffee and tasty treats are available for your enjoyment. For more information, contact Gary Blakeman.
Arrows Out opportunity—Mowing at the Hope Center!
Once again we have the opportunity to go and serve the Hope Center and their mission to rebuild one of the most under-resourced communities in Kansas City. Our job for the fourth consecutive year is to mow and weed-eat the grounds on their campus on the corner of Linwood and Belfountaine. This is a GREAT chance to grow and serve by making this a small group activity. Just one week is all we ask, over the summer. 2 to 5 guys can knock it out in an hour or two.
For more information, or to sign up for a specific weekend, please contact Rob @ firstname.lastname@example.org.
