Join us at Fall Retreat 2026

DATE: November 13 – 15, 2026

LOCATION: Heartland Community Church

Join us November 13-15 for Fall Retreat 2025! MOVE (grades 6-8) and MVMT (grades 9-12) students will gather on and off-site for a jam-packed, two-day retreat experience. Friday night, Fall Retreat will kick off at Heartland, and students will come together for dinner, an awesome session, and small groups!

Day two begins Saturday morning at Heartland with a session, a service project, and lunch in the Backyard before small groups participate in the Amazing Race-style competition in the afternoon! The day concludes Saturday night with a worship session, late-night snacks and hangs, and more fun!

Sunday morning starts with breakfast in the dock before all students attend the 10:30 AM service at Heartland together. Afterward, the retreat concludes!

This weekend is designed with tons of opportunities to have FUN and connect with God and one another. We can’t wait to see you there!

Frequent questions

Absolutely! We know fall is a busy time with sports and other school or family activities. If your student is only able to participate in a portion of the weekend, please contact Brinna so they can communicate with the small group leader assigned to your student, and your drop-off/pick-up arrangements can be made.

Drop-off and pick-up will always be on-site at Heartland at door 7 in the back. Check-in begins at  5:45 PM on Friday, November 7. Pick-up for all grades on Friday is at 10 PM. Saturday, November 8, drop-off is 8:45-9:00 AM, and pick-up is at 9 PM. Sunday, drop-off is at 9 AM, and pick-up is at 11:30 AM.

First Student Charter will provide transportation, and exact locations can be given upon request. Saturday morning’s leaf rake activity may require transportation from your student’s adult small group leader.

Many factors are part of this decision, and parents are often surprised to learn that our events do not pay for themselves. A portion of our annual budget supplements the event costs, which include camp production, transportation, and more. Additionally, since we ask so much of our small group leaders, we use the registration cost to cover their expenses for attending. Therefore, when you pay for your student to attend one of our events, a portion of that money is used to cover the cost of their small group leader’s attendance.

Please reach out to Brinna or DJ via email at the point of registration so that special arrangements can be made to accommodate your student.

No. Parents or guardians should plan to drop off and pick up their student on both Friday and Saturday of the event at the scheduled times.

Students should plan to bring a notebook, their Bible, and a pen. Your student should wear clothes that will keep them comfortable both outdoors and indoors, and that allow them to participate in games and activities. Be sure to check email notifications and the weather for a better idea of how much extra clothing (e.g., jackets/ gloves) is needed.

Fall Retreat is a BLAST! This weekend promises to be packed with fun, connection, and dynamic worship experiences. We can’t wait to see how God will show up as we make space to meet with him in community together!

We offer assistance to families who need help due to financial hardship. After the team reviews your application, they will determine if your student qualifies for a reduced rate and the amount. Our funding is limited, so a reduced rate cannot be guaranteed. To inquire and receive the application, please contact Brinna or DJ.
