The Heart of the Role
You’ll be on the ground capturing the moments that matter — interviews, ministry highlights, testimonials, Sunday, and midweek experiences — then shaping them into content people actually want to watch.
Voice & Strategy
You’ll coordinate the content calendar and add to the voice of Heartland across social — crafting copy that sounds human, reflects our mission, and meets people where they already spend their time.
People-First Presence
Social media is a two-way street. You’ll actively monitor comments and messages, track what’s working, and help develop volunteers who share a passion for telling Heartland’s story and sharing what life is like on the journey with Jesus.
We’re not just looking for skills — we’re looking for someone who loves Jesus, loves people, and loves making things that are genuinely good.
You’ve created content for social media — personally, academically, or professionally. You know your way around basic video editing software and have the clips to prove it.
Strong video capture and editing, confident copywriting, fluency in Facebook, Instagram, & YouTube, and the organizational chops to manage multiple projects at once.
High school diploma or equivalent. Coursework in Communications, Marketing, or Video Production is a bonus — but a great portfolio speaks louder than credentials.
A personal, lived commitment to sharing what life is like on the journey with Jesus. You understand that the work isn’t just content — it’s a ministry, and you want to be faithful with it.
