Jesus built relationships with everyday, ordinary people from every part of society. Heartland has been doing the same thing since we began in 1986. What started as the dream of a handful of people meeting in a basement has grown over 35 years through two campuses, multiple church plants, dozens of local and global initiatives and thousands of lives changed. We’ve seen God do more than we can ask or imagine . . . but we’re not done dreaming. When we look around us at the 2.14M people living in the greater Kansas City area, we hear Jesus’ words to us: “the harvest is plentiful.” So we’re deepening our relationships with one another and opening our lives and living rooms to those furthest from Jesus.
