WELCOME TO HEARTLAND KIDS!

Welcome, Heartland kids and families! Each week, you can learn with your kids by watching the Heartland Kids curriculum right here, on YouTube, and in the Heartland app. These videos are the lessons your kids will learn from each Sunday...and it can be fun to revisit them together.

You can join us in person at 9 and 11 AM on our campus. We are committed to making Heartland a safe and super fun place for kids. Our fully background-checked volunteers will make your kiddos feel right at home. They will leave knowing that God made them, loves them, and Jesus wants to be their friend forever. Our age-appropriate curriculum in each area is delivered through an active variety of crafts, music, and storytelling. Each kid is connected with a group of peers and a dedicated small group leader. We have teams of volunteers who strive to make it the best hour of the week for your kids.

What to Expect at Heartland Kids

Heartland Kids - Sundays, 9 & 11 AM In-Person for Kids in K – 4th

Our staff and volunteers are committed to making the Bible real to kids through creative large group teaching and intimate small group relationships.

Our curriculum is virtue based and is communicated through music, creative drama, and a Bible lesson. Each kid is connected with a group of their peers and a dedicated small group leader. To help you be the primary faith shaper for your family we provide Parent Cue when you pick up your child, or via the Parent Cue App (download below).

As we adapt to gathering in-person, we will be engaging a variety of safety precautions. Masks are optional in all spaces at Heartland for children and adults. Other safety precautions are described below:

Masks are currently optional for kids and adults in all of our environments.
Adults and kids will be given hand sanitizer upon entering rooms and handwashing/sanitizing will take place during service. We will be cleaning and sanitizing each room before, during and after every service.
For the health of other families and our community, we will have to turn away kids that show signs of illness or report feeling unwell. We appreciate your understanding.
If you have any questions regarding our reopening policy and precautions, or need to alert us of a positive test or exposure after attending Heartland Kids, please reach out to Michelle Pemberton, our Heartland Kids Pastor at michellep@heartlandchurch.org (CLICK HERE to open email link).

We focus on these three truths:

1

WISDOM

I need to make the wise choice.

2

FAITH

I can trust God no matter what.

3

FRIENDSHIP

I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

Everything we teach in Heartland Kids K-4 is based on one of these basic, but powerful truths modeled by Jesus in Luke 2:52. Our curriculum is designed to provoke discovery and invite kids into a new understanding of how to grow in a relationship with Jesus. We would like to help families continue teaching these truths at home with the help of “Parent Cue” available at Kids' check-in or in the Parent Cue app (download below).

If you are interested in peeking in on what a Sunday looks like for your child, email Michelle Pemberton to schedule a behind the scenes tour of Heartland Kids.
