WELCOME TO HEARTLAND KIDS!

Welcome, Heartland kids and families! Each week, you can learn with your kids by watching the Heartland Kids curriculum right here, on YouTube, and in the Heartland app. These videos are the lessons your kids will learn from each Sunday...and it can be fun to revisit them together.

You can join us in person at 9 and 11 AM on our campus. We are committed to making Heartland a safe and super fun place for kids. Our fully background-checked volunteers will make your kiddos feel right at home. They will leave knowing that God made them, loves them, and Jesus wants to be their friend forever. Our age-appropriate curriculum in each area is delivered through an active variety of crafts, music, and storytelling. Each kid is connected with a group of peers and a dedicated small group leader. We have teams of volunteers who strive to make it the best hour of the week for your kids.

What to Expect at Heartland Kids

Heartland Kids-Sundays, 9 & 11 AM In-Person for Kids Birth-PreK

Our staff and volunteers are committed to making the Bible real to kids through creative extensive group teaching and intimate small group relationships.

We make space for kids to build relationships to make Jesus first through music, interactive activities, crafts and a Bible lesson. To help you be the primary faith shaper for your family, pick up a monthly curriculum sheet from Parent Cue at the check-in desk, or via the awesome Parent Cue App (download below). Each child will leave knowing that God made them, loves them, and Jesus wants to be their friend forever.

We focus on these three truths:

1

God made me.

2

God loves me.

3

God wants to be my friend forever.

We teach these truths through crafts, music and storytelling. We would like to help families continue teaching these truths at home with the help of “Parent Cue” available at Kids' check-in or in the Parent Cue app (download below).

If you are interested in peeking in on what a Sunday looks like for your child, email Laura Gulley to schedule a behind the scenes tour of Heartland Kids.

* Due to allergies, we are a snack-free environment. We also have great systems for getting in touch with you during the service if your kiddo needs you.

Yes, if it would make you feel more comfortable to stay with your kiddo, please get in touch with Laura on a Sunday morning or CLICK HERE to email her and she will help you make that possible.
Our staff is committed to creating the best experience for your child, and we can handle it if they are upset when you leave. We encourage you to do the drop-off quickly because once parents are gone, kids are easily distracted. It is normal for children to experience anxiety at different times in their lives, and if your child is inconsolable, we promise we will text you. We have a 10-minute cry rule.
Every adult volunteer at Heartland has completed a background check, and we always have at least two volunteers in every room so that no volunteer is ever alone with a child. Our volunteers serve in their sweet spot, so they love the role they are serving in. If you are interested in serving in Heartland Kids with us, we would love that! CLICK HERE to email Laura Gulley.
Masks are currently optional for children and adults in all of our environments.
Adults and kids will be given hand sanitizer upon entering rooms and handwashing/sanitizing will take place during service. We will be cleaning and sanitizing each room before, during and after every service.
For the health of other families and our community, we will have to turn away kids that show signs of illness or report feeling unwell. We appreciate your understanding.
If you have any questions regarding our reopening policy and precautions, or need to alert us of a positive test or exposure after attending Heartland Kids, please CLICK HERE to email Laura Gulley, our Heartland Kids Preschool Pastor.
