I’m John Auld, and I serve at Heartland in several ways, including the Online Prayer Team, our Adult Community, Friday Morning Men’s Group, and as a Pastoral Elder.

I love being with people and, hopefully, impacting their lives by helping them know Jesus and his love better. I get particularly excited when I get to be part of a Jesus “A-ha” moment in someone’s life.

As I serve, I’ve encountered Jesus revealing himself in my fellow volunteers through the shared commitment, love and faithfulness. I’m always reminded of how awesome he is and how much he loves us.

I serve because I’m like that little kid that never wants to go to bed at night, afraid he’ll miss something. I don’t want to miss what God has for me and those around me.
