GriefShare Surviving the Holidays
Help and hope as you navigate the Christmas season
 
If you have lost a loved one recently the approaching holiday season could be causing you some anxiety and dread rather than excitement and joy.  How do you navigate these times of year that are focused on family and celebration when you are grieving?
 
This year Heartland will be offering the Surviving the Holidays seminar from GriefShare.  This two-hour seminar will offer you some helpful tips on facing the many emotions you may be feeling, how to handle social gatherings, and how to find hope in the future.
 
We will watch a 40-minute video, have some snacks and conversation, and offer you the comfort of being with others who understand what it’s like to be grieving at a joyous time of year.
